Kisoboka Africa’s creating pathways to prosperity through SCOBAs

This feature picture shows a SCOBA (School Community Bank) meeting taking place at Building Tomorrow Lukindu Primary School. We pioneered SCOBAs in rural primary schools to open up opportunities for parents to save their money, borrow to invest and also get crucial business training to start income generating projects. This is catalysing their path to #prosperity and empowering them to actively participate in the #education of their children.

Kisoboka Africa now has 7 SCOBAs in 2 primary schools and continues to start more others across Lwengo and Lyantonde districts. Our aim is to reach out to 10 more schools as we scale our work to catalyse more sustainable development through our economic strengthening programs.
