On Thursday 19th November 2020, Kisoboka Africa and I Profile Foundation awarded the 6 winners of the Bright Ideas Competition in a colorful ceremony attended by both Government officials and Local Leaders. The ceremony was graced by officials from the office of the RDC and Chief Administrative Officer Lwengo District. The Winners that were awarded include; Bwire Mrtin of Lukindu BT Primary School, Agaba Edgar of Hope Bulemere Primary School, Mbabazi Ruth of Kyanjovu Primary and Vocational School, Martin Kikambi of Luti Primary School, Faridah Nakagwa of God’s Will Primary School and Hannifa Nambasa of St Paul’s Secondary School Kyanukuzi. The winners were given cash awards that they will use to invest in their businesses and will be supported on their journey of entrepreneurship by both Kisoboka Africa and I Profile Foundation Teams. Kisoboka Africa is committed to empowering young people in rural Uganda with both financial literacy and business skills to have the knowledge and confidence to run their own successful enterprises and co-create thriving communities.
